Alternative performance measures

MEKO applies the Guidelines on Alternative Performance Measures issued by ESMA.

An alternative performance measure is a financial measure of historical or future financial performance, financial position or cash flows that is not defined or specified in IFRS. The presentation of alternative performance measures is limited as an analysis tool and should not be considered independently or as a substitute for financial metrics prepared in accordance with IFRS.

MEKO believes that these performance measures provide valuable supplementary information to company management, investors and other stakeholders in evaluating the company’s performance. These alternative performance measures are not always comparable with performance measures used by other companies since not all companies calculate these performance measures in the same way. These should therefore be seen as a supplement to the performance measures defined according to IFRS. For definitions of key figures and historical reconciliations of alternative performance measures, refer the company’s website www.meko.com and the latest Annual and Sustainability Report. For relevant reconciliations of the alternative performance measures that cannot be directly read in or derived from the financial statements, refer to below.
